My Teaching Philosophy
As an Information Systems professor at a free-market school, my teaching philosophy is rooted in fostering an environment that encourages critical thinking, innovation, and practical application of knowledge. I believe that the study of Information Systems (IS) is not only about understanding technology but also about comprehending its strategic role in driving business value and fostering entrepreneurial spirit. My teaching approach focuses on the practical application and real-world relevance of Information Systems by integrating case studies, market trends, and projects. I emphasize critical thinking and problem-solving, encouraging students to analyze data and develop innovative solutions. I also promote an entrepreneurial mindset, stressing the importance of innovation and adaptability, and incorporate ethical considerations and social responsibility into discussions.
